Job summary

Teapulse, a modern tea atelier in New York, seeks a hands-on Shift Supervisor to lead daily store operations on-site. You will oversee task assignment, beverage preparation, and shift handovers while maintaining high quality and cleanliness standards.

The role requires 1–2 years in bubble tea/coffee/food service with leadership experience, plus English and Mandarin proficiency to serve customers and coordinate with teammates. Weekend availability is expected.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in bubble tea, coffee, or food service, including hands‑on experience leading shifts.
• Working proficiency in English and Mandarin Chinese to serve customers, communicate with team members, and complete shift handovers.
• Ability to lead a shift independently and resolve issues in a fast‑paced environment.
• Reliable and punctual, with availability for opening, closing, and weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assign tasks, coordinate stations, and manage breaks to keep operations running smoothly during peak hours.
• Prepare beverages and serve customers while ensuring recipes, product quality, and food safety standards are followed.
• Complete opening, closing, cash reconciliation, and shift handover procedures.
• Resolve customer concerns and operational issues, escalating to the Store Manager when needed.
• Monitor ingredient preparation, inventory, and cleanliness, and help train new team members.

As we continue to expand across North America, we are looking for a reliable, hands‑on Shift Supervisor to lead daily store operations during assigned shifts, working alongside the team to maintain beverage quality, efficient service, and consistent store standards.
