Job summary

Silver Cross Hospital is seeking a Food Service Associate to deliver meals and beverages through the cafe and coffee bar, ensuring timely, friendly service to patients and staff.

You will follow sanitation guidelines, prepare beverages and sandwiches per recipes, and accurately handle the register while upholding Starbucks standards and exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• High school or currently attending high school or equivalent preferred.
• Food Handler certification required or obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Previous food handling experience required.
• Previous coffee bar experience preferred.
• Good customer relations.
• Able and willing to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food and beverages to customers in a timely manner.
• Follow sanitation guidelines and standardized recipes for beverages and sandwiches.
• Accurately operate the register and charge correct prices.
• Maintain Starbucks standards and ensure compliance.
• Provide excellent customer service.

Position Summary

Responsible for the safe delivery of food and services to customer in a timely manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Follows sanitation guidelines
• Able to perform and follow all duties of Coffee Shop positions
• Accurate portion and use of proper serving utensils
• Accurate on register/ charging correct prices
• Follows standardized recipes for beverages and sandwiches
• Maintains Starbucks standards to adhere to compliancy
• Maintains customer service excellence

Pay

The expected pay for this position is listed below: $16.00 - $16.00 The final pay rate offered may be more than the posted range based on several factors including but not limited to: licensure, certifications, work experience, education, knowledge, demonstrated abilities, internal equity, market data, and more.
