We are hiring immediately for part-time BARISTA positions.

Location: Capital One - 3150 M Street Northwest, Washington, DC 20007. Note: online applications accepted only.

Job Summary

Summary: Prepare and serve coffee/espresso drinks and related food and beverage items. Handle food according to HACCP guidelines. Interact courteously with customers and staff.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare espresso orders using standard recipes and measures.
• Accurately enter orders into POS; accept payments.
• Replenish supplies and maintain cleanliness.
• Follow HACCP standards for food presentation, portion control, and temperature.
• Maintain sanitation of equipment and work areas.
• Ensure proper food preparation and display.
• Greet and interact with customers to ensure satisfaction.
• Communicate menu items effectively to customers.
• Assist in merchandising and serve food attractively.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
