Morrison Living is hiring immediately for part-time WAITER/WAITRESS positions.

• Location: Sterling Court - 324 North 1680 East, Saint George, UT 84790.
• Schedule: Part-time; days and hours may vary, including afternoons and evenings. More details upon interview.
• Requirement: Prior serving experience preferred.

• Pay Range: $15.00 to $16.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Takes food and beverage orders and efficiently delivers items to dining room guests.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Promptly and warmly greet guests, take food and beverages orders following established steps of service.
• Deliver food promptly and professionally; maintain safe food handling and sanitation standards. Follow up periodically to assist with additional needs or requests.
• Demonstrate understanding of menu items and ingredients. Advise guests on food and drink pairings; accommodate requests and note preferences. Knowledge of diets and allergens as needed.
• Communicate with back-of-the-house staff to ensure correct order delivery and special requests are met.
• Exhibit excellent communication skills and ability to work well with others. Remain flexible and patient when interacting with guests and staff.
• Collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and neat environment for guests.
• Handle sensitive and confidential personal or medical information appropriately.
• Address complaints or issues promptly; relay relevant information to supervisor.
• Ensure dining area is properly set up before and after service; keep area clean and meet sanitation standards.
• Operate equipment such as fire extinguishers, telephones, iced tea/soda machines, soup wells, and coffee machines.
• Collaborate with other departments during special events and functions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
