Job summary

Muckleshoot Casino Resort is seeking a Counter/Barista to deliver outstanding guest service and beverages with a friendly, professional approach. You will take orders, explain menu items, and operate the espresso bar and ice cream service in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements include six months of barista experience, the ability to obtain a Class III B gaming license, and a valid WA Food Handler Permit.

Qualifications

• Six months of Counter/Barista experience required.
• Ability to obtain a Class III B gaming license.
• WA State Health Card/Food Handler Permit required.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent guest service and professionalism.
• Take food and beverage orders and promote menu items.
• Operate espresso bar machine and prepare beverages.
• Prepare and serve ice cream orders.
• Follow cash handling and cash register procedures.
• Reconcile daily end-of-shift financial transactions.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas and equipment.

• Accurately take food and beverage orders promoting and recommending menu options to guests.
• Clean andmaintainwork areas and equipment, before, during and after guests are served.
• Help guests select food and beverage items (i.e., explaining daily specials or answering preparation questions).
• Operate an espresso bar machine and prepare beverages ranging from simple to elaborate drinks.
• Prepare and serve ice cream orders.
• Follow standards for display cases;maintains, cleans, and restocks as needed.
• Ensure guest satisfaction by delivery of food andbeveragein an efficient and friendly manner.
• Follow cash handling and cash register procedures.
• Reconciliation of daily “end of shift” financial transactions.
• Perform assigned daily and weekly cleaning tasks.
• Inform management of guest requests, inventory shortages, replenishmentneedsand food spoilage.
• Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for all products.
• Provide excellent guest service to ensure a positive guest experience.
• Create,maintain, andfacilitates a positive work environment; promotes positive team member relations and reports issues to theappropriate personnel.
• Other duties as assigned.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

• Ability to obtain a Class III B gaming license.
• A minimum ofsix(6) months’ experience as a Counter/Baristaisrequired.
• Previouslead or supervisory experience preferred.
• Required to have and maintain a valid WA State Health Card/Food Handlers Permit.
• Must be able tomaintainClass 12 permit and /or Class 13 Permitrequired
