Job summary

Muckleshoot Casino Resort in Auburn, WA is seeking a part-time Bartender to deliver outstanding guest service at the bar. You will take orders, describe specials, maintain a clean station, and ensure compliance with sanitation and alcohol policies. A WA Health Card, Class III gaming license eligibility, and at least one year of bartending experience are required.

We offer $17.13/hour, with discretionary bonuses twice a year, plus complimentary meals and free parking for team members.

Qualifications

• One (1) year minimum bartending experience.
• WA State Health Card / Food Handlers Permit required.
• Class III gaming license eligibility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Exemplifies MCR values and provides excellent guest service.
• Prepare and maintain a detailed table before, during, and after guests are served.
• Take orders and present food and beverages to guests.
• Explain daily specials and assist guests in selecting items.
• Keep the wait station clean and restocked; adhere to sanitation and alcohol policies.
• Complete daily/weekly cleaning duties; ensure a positive dining experience.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Practice, support and promote the mission, vision, and values of Muckleshoot Casino Resort.
• Prepare and maintain a detailed table, before, during and after guests are served.
• Take orders and present food to guests.
• Help guests’ select food and beverage items (i.e.: explaining daily specials, offering appetizers, or answering food preparation questions).
• Keep wait station area clean and restocked.
• Adhere to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies.
• Complete specific daily/weekly cleaning duties.
• Provide excellent guest service by providing a positive dining experience.
• Conclude dining experience by thanking the guests and inviting them to return.
• Create, maintains, and facilitates a positive work environment; promotes positive team member relations and reports issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Other duties as assigned.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

• Ability to obtain a Class III B gaming license.
• Hold and maintain a valid WA State Health Card/Food Handlers Permit required.
• 1 (one) year experience in bartending required.
• Bartending School or equivalent training preferred.
