The Indigo Road Hospitality Group (IRHG) is hiring a Barista in Charlottesville, VA. You will create, prepare, and serve coffee beverages based on recipes, and record orders with accuracy.

You will greet guests at the bar, handle payments, maintain cleanliness, restock inventory, and report issues to the restaurant manager. We value positive energy, teamwork, and a flexible schedule to cover days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of barista or similar experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Positive energy and ability to work as part of a team.
• Flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Create, prepare, and serve coffee beverages based on recipes and record drink orders accurately.
• Receive and serve food and drink orders to guests seated at the bar, process payments, and report gratuities per IRS standards.
• Maintain cleanliness at the bar area, coffee station, and glassware; wash and sterilize items.
• Assist with stocking/restocking bar inventory and report equipment or maintenance issues to the restaurant manager.
