Job summary

The Land's End Resort in Homer, AK is seeking a Barista to provide specialty beverages, handle sales at the POS, and support daily café operations within a hotel setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Food handler's card or ServSafe certification within 30 days of hire.
• Six months of barista experience.
• Six months of experience in food handling or preparation.
• Six months of cashier experience.
• Must speak/read/write English.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with information, orders, and recommendations.
• Brew a variety of coffees and beverages using espresso machines and other equipment.
• Prepare food items according to safety procedures and standard practices.
• Input sales into the POS system accurately.
• Count cash drawers and manage deposits.
• Maintain inventory levels and stock as needed.
• Adhere to cash handling policies and resolve service issues.
• Keep work areas clean and sanitized; assist with periodic large cleaning projects.
