Job summary

Nana Regional Corporation, Inc. is seeking a Server for Land’s End Resort in Homer, Alaska, to greet guests, take orders, and deliver food and drinks in a hotel restaurant setting.

The role requires at least six months of server experience, ability to operate a POS, and compliance with TAP and ServSafe/Food Handler requirements. You will work in a busy hospitality environment, ensuring guest satisfaction and accurate billing.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Must be 21 years of age or older to serve and prepare alcohol.
• At least six (6) months of server experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality setting.
• Must have TAP certification contingent upon 30 days of hire.
• Municipality of Alaska Food Handlers Card or ServSafe Certification contingent upon 30 days of hire.
• Observes grooming, customer service, and uniform/ dress standards.
• Contract requires employees to speak, understand, read, and write English.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and take orders promptly.
• Present menu, answer questions, and make service suggestions.
• Enter orders into POS system and relay to kitchen.
• Serve wines, beer, and cocktails to guests.
• Monitor guests and respond to requests during meals.
• Clear and reset guest areas after service.
• Ensure food stations are stocked per checklists.
• Break down stations and clean equipment.
