Job summary

Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tejon is seeking a part-time Barista to prepare and present beverages, conduct tastings, and ensure sanitation under restaurant management. The role includes customer demonstrations, promoting positive guest relations, and maintaining health-compliant production areas.

Qualifications include a minimum six months of related experience, ability to work nights/weekends/holidays, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum six (6) months of related experience required.
• Able to work a varied work schedule to include nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with guests in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities.
• Must be able to complete standard forms and reports.

Responsibilities

• Establish the preparation and presentation of beverages including tasting, product specifications, and sanitation.
• Offers customer demonstrations and samples using brewing equipment.
• Promotes positive customer relations; explains menu items and handles guest complaints.
• Ensures production and storage areas meet health department codes.
• Maintain a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility.
