Job summary

Hard Rock Casino Rockford is seeking a Barista to craft beverages, greet guests, and ensure quality tasting and sanitation under restaurant management.

You will operate the coffee bar, demonstrate drinks to guests, handle menu explanations and guest concerns, and maintain a clean, safe work area while complying with health codes. Flexible shifts, nights, weekends required; 21+ age; strong communication skills expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required, or minimum six months related experience.
• Must obtain and maintain all licenses/certifications per Federal, State, and Gaming regulations.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to work nights, holidays, weekends, and flexible shifts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Offers customer demonstrations and samples using brewing equipment.
• Serves, welcomes, and greets guests at coffee bar.
• Explains menu items and handles guest complaints effectively.
• Prepare and serve beverages per established standards.
• Maintain production and storage areas per health department codes.
• Maintain a clean and hazard-free work environment.
• Attend to other duties as assigned.
