Job Description: Barista at Morrison Healthcare

Morrison Healthcare is hiring immediately for full-time and part-time Barista positions located at Market Coffee, 925 Seneca Street, Seattle, WA 98101. Online applications are accepted only.

Schedule: Full-time and part-time, Monday through Friday, 6:30 am to 2:30 pm. More details will be provided during the interview.

Job Summary

Summary: Prepare and serve coffee/espresso drinks and related food and beverage items, handle food according to HACCP standards, and interact courteously with customers and staff.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare espresso and other drinks using standard measures and recipes.
• Accurately enter orders into POS system; process payments.
• Replenish supplies and maintain cleanliness of the service area.
• Ensure proper presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures following HACCP standards.
• Maintain sanitation of equipment, supplies, and utensils.
• Follow recipes and standards for food preparation.
• Keep display areas clean and well-organized.
• Clean equipment and workstations after shifts.
• Greet and interact courteously with customers, addressing their concerns.
• Serve customers efficiently, minimizing delays.
• Understand and explain menu items accurately.
• Assist in selling by communicating effectively and helping customers make decisions.
• Ensure attractive display and serving of food items.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
