We are hiring immediately for a part-time BARISTA position.

Location: Capital One - 400 Bellevue Way Northeast, Bellevue, WA 98004. Note: online applications accepted only.

Requirement: Prior barista experience is preferred, but not required.

Job Summary

Summary: Make and serve coffee/espresso drinks and related food and beverage items. Handle food according to HACCP standards. Interact with customers and staff courteously.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Prepare espresso orders using standard measures and recipes.
2. Accurately enter orders into POS; accept payments.
3. Replenish condiments, beverages, and supplies; maintain cleanliness.
4. Ensure proper presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures; follow HACCP standards.
5. Maintain sanitation of equipment and utensils.
6. Ensure proper food preparation using approved recipes.
7. Keep display equipment clean and attractive during service.
8. Clean equipment and workstation thoroughly after use.
9. Greet customers courteously and ensure satisfaction.
10. Serve customers efficiently and prevent delays.
11. Understand and explain menu items to customers.
12. Assist in selling techniques and customer decision-making.
13. Merchandise display foods attractively and serve neatly.
14. Perform other duties as assigned.
