Job Title: Barista

We are hiring immediately for a full-time Barista position.

Location: 3M - 2501 Hudson Road, Building 222, Saint Paul, MN 55144. Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Full-time; Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm. More details upon interview.

Requirements: Prior barista experience preferred.

Pay Range: $20.00 to $21.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Make and serve coffee/espresso drinks and related food and beverage items. Handle food according to HACCP standards. Interact with customers and staff in a friendly manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Prepare espresso orders using standard measures and recipes.
2. Enter orders accurately into POS; accept payments.
3. Replenish supplies and maintain cleanliness.
4. Ensure proper presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures.
5. Maintain sanitation of equipment and work area.
6. Follow recipes and standards for food prep.
7. Keep display equipment clean and tidy during service.
8. Clean equipment before leaving the area.
9. Greet customers courteously and ensure satisfaction.
10. Serve efficiently to prevent delays.
11. Understand and explain menu items accurately.
12. Assist in selling techniques and customer decision-making.
13. Merchandise display foods attractively and serve neatly.
14. Perform other duties as assigned.
