Job Summary: Makes and serves coffee/espresso drinks and related food and beverage items. Handles food according to HACCP standards for quality food-service operations. Interacts with customers and employees in a friendly, courteous manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Prepares espresso orders for customers and catering using standard measures and recipes.
2. Enters orders accurately into POS; accepts cash and charge payments.
3. Replenishes condiments, beverages, and supplies; maintains cleanliness of the service area.
4. Ensures proper presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures; follows HACCP standards.
5. Maintains sanitation and orderliness of equipment, supplies, and utensils.
6. Ensures proper food preparation using approved recipes and standards.
7. Keeps display equipment clean during service.
8. Cleans equipment and workstation before leaving.
9. Greet customers courteously, ensuring satisfaction, and relay concerns to supervisors.
10. Serves customers efficiently, preventing delays.
11. Understands and explains menu items accurately.
12. Assists in selling techniques and customer decision-making.
13. Merchandises display foods attractively and serves food neatly.
14. Performs other duties as assigned.
