They are assigned to a primary area but are also fully trained to assist customers in other store areas, including prepared foods and meat departments. Job Description

• Experience Required: 0 to 6 months
• Experience Desired: Prior experience in a related field; Food Safety Knowledge
• Education Desired: No High School diploma required
• Lifting Requirement: Up to 50 pounds
• Age Requirement: At least 16 years of age

Job Responsibilities

• Maintain safety as the top priority in all aspects of work, for team members, guests, and products.
• Provide excellent guest service, aiming to delight and surprise guests, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Cultivate a foodie culture by sharing excitement and passion for food with team members and guests.
• Demonstrate suggestive selling techniques effectively.
• Offer sampling opportunities when appropriate.
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment, tables, utensils, and floors to ensure safety and meet sanitation standards.
• Stock cases by transferring products from the delivery area to the shelves.
• Assist guests by answering questions promptly and with a friendly attitude.
• Order products as needed using the shelf tag scanner or order machine.
• Follow procedures to meet out-of-stock percentage goals.
• Add new items to shelves, arranging products safely and attractively.
