Job summary

Better Buzz Coffee in Surprise, AZ, is hiring a barista to join a fast-paced, fun team. You will deliver friendly service, learn our drinks, and assist in food preparation while keeping the cafe spotless and safe.

We offer on-site roles with flexible hours to cover weekends and holidays. Base pay starts at $15.15/hour plus tips, with opportunities for growth within a lively, caffeinated Buzz Life culture.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in coffee, food service, or hospitality preferred
• Passion for great coffee and exceptional guest service
• Strong communicator with a positive, solution-oriented attitude
• Reliable, punctual, and available for nights, weekends and holidays and able to work 22 hours each week
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Responsibilities

• Deliver the Better Buzz experience through fast, friendly, and genuine service
• Be knowledgeable about our coffee, tea, food, and specialty drinks
• Prepare and serve beverages and food consistently following recipe standards
• Work all café positions — our baristas are cross-trained and adaptable – including working in our kitchens to make food to order
• Keep our spaces clean, safe – always ready for guests and teammates
• Produces proper drink and food items to standard recipe specifications
• Stock all necessary ingredients in accordance with each station's needs
• Follows health, safety and sanitation guidelines for all products and areas
