Job summary

• Offer samples and inform customers of coffee shop specials.
• Provide fresh products in correct portions to prevent shrink.
• Recommend coffee shop items to meet customer needs.
• Use equipment according to guidelines; label and inventory ingredients.
• Check product quality and review sell-by dates.
• Operate espresso machine, blender, scale, steamer.
• Label, stock and inventory department merchandise.
• Report discrepancies to the department manager.
• Stay current with ads.
• Follow safety procedures; identify unsafe conditions.
• Inspect equipment and report repairs.
• Report accidents and safety risks to management.
• Work cooperatively in fast-paced environment.
• Manage conflict in a non-confrontational manner.
• Maintain honesty and integrity regarding information.
• Follow directions and seek help to resolve issues.
• Provide support to minors, individuals with special needs, and/or older adults.
