Job summary

Grant Regional Health Center is seeking a part-time Barista to oversee daily coffee shop operations and deliver exceptional customer service. You will work closely with the CDM to ensure quality, efficiency, and service standards while educating customers about premium coffees and teas.

The role emphasizes customer engagement, accurate POS transactions, adherence to sanitation guidelines, and teamwork to grow business during peak hours.

Qualifications

• Barista experience in food service and customer service.
• Proficient with POS CBORD and Microsoft applications.
• Excellent customer service, organization, decision making and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work under occasional high demand periods and stay organized.
• Knowledge of sanitation guidelines; ServSafe certification a plus.
• Must be able to transfer 45 pounds and stand/walk up to 90% of shift.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with a friendly smile.
• Provide quick, personal service and build rapport with customers.
• Handle transactions accurately at POS and make change.
• Prepare, serve and present a variety of coffee and food items.
• Educate customers on GRHC products and services.
• Follow health, safety and sanitation guidelines.
