Job summary

Summit Pacific Medical Center is seeking a Barista to serve staff, patients, guests, and customers with prompt and friendly service. You will prepare coffee drinks, blended beverages, smoothies, and light foods, while keeping the cafe area clean and well-stocked.

You will also help with wayfinding and information about the facility. The role emphasizes accuracy in cash handling, adherence to food safety standards, and teamwork within cafe and catering functions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Cash handling and basic math skills required.
• Ability to learn and follow established policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Set up work stations and maintain par levels of items.
• Pull shots and follow drink recipes for beverages.
• Prepare foods and nourishments to standardized quantities and quality.
• Accurately process cash register transactions and make change.
• Support Café and catered events as needed; assist in prep, service and sanitation.
• Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, and equipment; manage waste appropriately.
• Monitor temperatures and ensure food safety and quality standards.
• Demonstrate Summit Pacific values and provide excellent patient/customer experiences.
