Job summary

Target is hiring a Starbucks Barista to deliver an exceptional guest experience in our Chesapeake, VA store. You will craft beverages and food to spec, greet guests, and uphold food safety and cleanliness standards.

You should be friendly, able to work in a fast-paced environment, and willing to adapt to varying shifts, including nights and weekends. Training is provided to learn Target and Starbucks standards.

Qualifications

• Previous Starbucks/food service experience preferred, but not required.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and team members.
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology.

Responsibilities

• Produce hand crafted beverages and food to specifications on recipe cards.
• Follow food safety requirements and monitor temperature sensitive items.
• Engage with guests to meet and exceed expectations per Starbucks standards.
• Support Drive Up and take part in back-up cashier or order pickup duties.
• Maintain a clean, inviting dining area and assist peers as needed.
