Job summary

Target is hiring a Starbucks Barista to deliver a welcoming guest experience, craft handcrafted beverages, and maintain food safety in a fast-paced store environment. You will engage with guests, assist teammates, and support drive-up and order pickup processes while following all Target and Starbucks standards.

The role requires a friendly attitude, teamwork, and the ability to work various shifts, including nights and weekends. Training will be provided to help you succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• Experience in Starbucks/food service preferred, but not required.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and other team members.
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed.
• Work both independently and with a team.
• Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot.
• Attention to detail and follow multi-step processes.
• Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide a warm, friendly interaction.
• Assist guests in finding items and resolve issues for a smooth shopping experience.
• Prepare handcrafted beverages and food to recipe specifications.
• Follow all food safety requirements and monitor temperature-sensitive items.
• Maintain cleanliness and restock the Starbucks space.
• Support Drive Up and order pickup processes as needed.
• Uphold Starbucks and Target routines for a consistent guest experience.
