Job summary

Target is looking for a Starbucks Barista to create a welcoming, fast-paced guest experience on the sales floor. You will craft handcrafted beverages and foods, uphold food safety standards, and assist guests with needs while delivering friendly service.

You will work with colleagues in a supportive team, follow procedures, handle transactions, and contribute to a clean, inviting store environment with a focus on guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Previous Starbucks/food service experience preferred, but not required
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and other team members
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed
• Work both independently and with a team
• Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot
• Attention to detail and follow multi-step processes

• Create an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly guest experience by delivering on the following commitments
• Greet: 10ft: be friendly – smile, make eye contact, or wave
• Help guests find what they need and/or resolve issues to ensure a smooth, easy shopping experience
• End every guest transaction with a sincere thank you
• Assist peers in other areas while maintaining a positive attitude
• Deliver an exceptional guest experience by providing a fresh and abundant shopping experience during all hours of operations
