Job summary

Target is seeking a Starbucks Barista to deliver an inviting guest experience, crafting handcrafted beverages and foods to Starbucks standards. You will greet guests, assist with product needs, and ensure food safety and accurate signing across all food and beverage areas of the store.

The role emphasizes teamwork, flexibility, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail environment, including Drive Up and OPU support as needed.

Qualifications

• Starbucks/food service experience preferred but not required.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and other team members.
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed.
• Work both independently and with a team.
• Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot.
• Attention to detail and follow multi-step processes.
• Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes.

• Greet guests at 10ft and 4ft with a warm, helpful interaction.
• Help guests find what they need and resolve issues for a smooth experience.
• End every guest transaction with a sincere thank you.
• Support team efforts and assist peers while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Deliver an exceptional guest experience by ensuring fresh beverages and food per recipes.
• Follow food safety requirements and record temperature-sensitive items.
