Job summary

Sodexo is hiring a Barista for UTMB Health Mainland Regional. You will deliver exceptional customer service while crafting hand-made beverages and supporting food service operations. Flexibility with afternoons/evenings and rotating weekends is required.

Responsibilities include taking orders, preparing drinks, maintaining cleanliness, and handling cash. Prior Starbucks certification may be needed, with benefits and training available.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Knowledge of food preparation, sanitation, standards and inventory control.
• Starbucks Barista certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and deliver quick, friendly service.
• Prepare and serve hot/cold beverages per order (coffee, espresso, tea, etc.).
• Ensure accuracy and speed in delivering drinks and food items.
• Educate guests on menu offerings and upsell where appropriate.
• Organize supplies and maintain attractive beverage displays.
• Regularly clean coffee machines and prep areas.
