Job summary

Sodexo at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette is seeking a Barista to deliver exceptional customer service and craft high-quality beverages. You’ll operate the coffee bar, engage with guests, and ensure accurate sales and timely service in a fast-paced campus setting.

This part-time role requires flexibility with shifts and physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds occasionally, and maintain cleanliness and inventory control across beverage stations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Knowledge of food preparation and sanitation standards.
• Barista certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Greets guests with quick, friendly service.
• Brews and serves hot and cold beverages per specifications.
• Maintains accuracy in cash handling and sales records.
• Educates guests on menu offerings and upselling opportunities.
• Keeps coffee bar clean and stocked, and machines orderly.
