Goodwill of Middle Georgia & the CSRA is seeking an experienced, energetic Barista/Cashier to join our team at our exciting new Bakehouse location. A Barista is someone who makes and/or serves coffee and coffee-based beverages. The ideal person for this role is someone familiar with providing excellent customer service early in the morning and on weekends at our Bakehouse/Coffee location housed on the Augusta Campus. The Barista/Cashier will be one of the smiling faces on the Bakehouse team.

PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:

1. Greeting customers in a friendly manner
2. Preparing and serving beverages such as coffee and tea, from simple to elaborate
3. Preparing and serving food items, promoting menu selections
4. Answering customer questions
5. Keeping the work environment organized and sanitary
6. Working to attract new customers with knowledge of fresh baked items

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

1. Ability to work with other staff members, lead workers, and supervisors
2. Basic Math Skills
3. Ability to push/lift up to 25 lbs.
4. Ability to stand for at least 6 hours per day
