We are hiring immediately for full-time FOOD SERVICE COMMISSARY (CASHIER/BARISTA) positions at One Vanderbilt, 1 Vanderbilt Avenue, New York, NY 10017. Online applications are accepted only.

Job Summary

Prepares, presents, and serves food.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Serves food and maintains service and beverage stations for product quality and cleanliness.
• Preps fresh fruits and vegetables.
• Uses approved recipes and standards to ensure quality, temperature, and portion control.
• Prepares and serves branded products according to specifications.
• Assembles products for service, including front-line cooking.
• Assists cooks and senior food-service workers.
• Operates kitchen equipment such as induction burners, ovens, grills, fryers, and mixers.
• Completes food production records.
• Prepares items on grill, pizza oven, and exhibition stations.
• Performs daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning tasks.
• Serves customers efficiently and courteously, resolving concerns as needed.
• Collaborates with coworkers to ensure service standards and inventory control.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
