Job description

The Barista is responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee, tea, and specialty beverages in a warm, friendly, and efficient manner. This role ensures that guests receive exceptional service in line with the hotel’s hospitality standards, while maintaining cleanliness, organization, and operational excellence within the café or lobby lounge.

Guest Service Excellence

1. Greet guests warmly and create a welcoming atmosphere.
2. Take and serve beverage and light food orders accurately and efficiently.
3. Personalize service by remembering guest preferences when possible.
4. Handle guest inquiries and resolve complaints promptly and professionally.

Beverage Preparation

1. Prepare espresso-based drinks, brewed coffee, teas, and other specialty beverages to recipe standards.
2. Maintain knowledge of seasonal offerings and menu changes.
3. Ensure consistency in presentation and taste.

Teamwork & Hotel Integration

Skills & Attributes

1. Strong knowledge of coffee brewing methods, latte art, and beverage preparation.
2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
