Job summary

PepperJacks Subs is seeking an experienced Barista to join our in-person team. You will greet customers, prepare quality coffee and espresso drinks, and maintain a clean, inviting station. The role emphasizes friendly service, accuracy, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Prior barista experience is required, and you’ll follow company recipes while handling the POS system and cash. Training is provided, and there are flexible scheduling options to accommodate staff needs.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner.

• Prepare and serve pastries and other designated food items.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked coffee station.
• Complete opening, shift, and closing responsibilities.
• Restock cups, lids, syrups, milk, coffee, and other supplies as needed.
• Clean and sanitize equipment, counters, work areas, and customer areas.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department requirements.
• Communicate with coworkers and management to keep service running smoothly.
• Assist teammates during busy periods and be willing to help wherever needed.
• Provide prompt, professional service and work to ensure every customer has a positive experience.
