Job summary

Friendsview in Newberg, OR is hiring a Barista to welcome residents and guests, take orders, and prepare beverages in a fast-paced, friendly environment.

You will process payments, assist with dining service, and help maintain a clean, welcoming Bistro. Prior barista experience is a plus; training and orientation are provided to support career growth in a caring community.

Qualifications

• Age 16 or older.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Friendly, dependable, and willing to learn.
• Ability to work well with others in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer/POS and math skills.
• Previous Barista experience in craft coffee a plus!

Responsibilities

• Welcome residents and guests with a friendly attitude.
• Take orders and accurately process cash and credit-card payments.
• Prepare and serve beverages and ready-to-eat foods.
• Assist with meal reservations, tables, and dining service.
• Keep the Bistro, cashier area, and beverage station clean and stocked.
• Help the dining team deliver excellent service.
• Follow food-safety, sanitation, privacy, and workplace safety standards.
