Friendsview Bistro in Newberg, OR is hiring a friendly Barista to join our dining team serving residents, guests, and staff. This full-time day shift position offers on-the-job training and opportunities to develop customer-service, cash-handling, and beverage skills in a supportive community.
You’ll welcome guests, take orders, process payments, prepare beverages and light foods, and help with dining logistics while maintaining cleanliness and safety standards.
Pay: $17.34+ per hour, DOE | Full-Time | Day Shift
Schedule: Sunday–Thursday 6:30 AM–2:30 PM OR 8:30 AM–4:30 PM

Welcome residents and guests with a friendly attitude.
Take orders and accurately process cash and credit-card payments.
Prepare and serve beverages and ready-to-eat foods.
Assist with meal reservations, tables, and dining service.
Keep the Bistro, cashier area, and beverage station clean and stocked.
Help the dining team deliver excellent service.
Follow food-safety, sanitation, privacy, and workplace safety standards.
Age 16 or older.
Authorized to work in the United States
Friendly, dependable, and willing to learn.
Ability to work well with others in a fast-paced environment.
Basic computer/POS and math skills.
Previous Barista experience in craft coffee a plus!
Respect and appreciation for older adults.
Reliable attendance and a positive, team-first attitude.
Additional requirements: Successful completion of required drug screening and completion of Orientation.
