Job summary

Friendsview in Newberg, Oregon invites applicants to join our Dining Services team as a Kitchen Utility/Dishwasher. This part-time role involves dishwashing, basic food prep, and keeping the kitchen clean while contributing to a welcoming campus community.

The position offers a 4:15 PM – 7:30 PM shift with 12–15 hours per week and a starting pay range of $17.34–$18.35 per hour (DOE). We value teamwork, reliability, and a commitment to service.

Qualifications

• Valid Oregon Food Handler's Card
• Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Valid driver’s license may be required if driving is part of duties

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment
• Keep kitchen workspaces clean, organized, and sanitized
• Assist with simple food preparation as needed
• Restock supplies and help keep the kitchen running smoothly
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Report equipment issues to supervisors
• Participate in team meetings and safety trainings
• Support your coworkers and help create a positive environment
