Job Description:
Heine Brothers' associates are responsible for maintaining the highest standards of guest service by providing quick, efficient, and professional service to ensure satisfaction. Responsibilities include restocking merchandise, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring guest satisfaction. *Must be available to work Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.*
Responsibilities:
- Knowledge of P.O.S System.
- Effective communication with guests and associates.
- Listening to, understanding, and clarifying concerns of co-workers and guests.
- Maintaining professionalism in all situations.
- Working well under stress and in high-pressure situations.
- Adhering to uniform and grooming standards.
- Assisting with monthly inventory.
- Following proper food handling procedures.
- Using equipment safely and knowledgeably.
- Consistently preparing and serving beverages to Heine Brothers' standards.
- Seeking ways to improve the guest experience.
- Maintaining cleanliness of the shop and work area, including cleaning tables, counters, and trashcans daily, and breaking down received merchandise boxes.
- Performing other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of customer service experience in food/beverage or retail; coffee house and/or hotel experience preferred.
- Ability to communicate clearly and pleasantly in English.
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and welcomingly.
- Ability to work well with co-workers across departments.
- Ability to prioritize and organize guest requests in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with all Heine Brothers' products and methods.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Food Handler Certification required.
- Physical ability to lift, carry, push, pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds, and to stand or walk for extended periods.
