Job Description

Heine Brothers' associates are responsible for maintaining the highest standards possible for the guest by providing quick, efficient, and professional service to ensure satisfaction. Responsibilities include restocking merchandise, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring guest satisfaction. *Must be available to work Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.*

Responsibilities
  • Knowledge of P.O.S System.
  • Effective communication with guests and associates.
  • Listening to, understanding, and clarifying concerns raised by co-workers and guests.
  • Maintaining professionalism in all situations.
  • Working well under stress and in high-pressure situations.
  • Adhering to uniform and grooming standards.
  • Assisting with monthly inventory.
  • Following proper food handling procedures.
  • Using equipment safely and correctly.
  • Consistently preparing and serving beverages to Heine Brothers' standards.
  • Seeking ways to improve the guest experience.
  • Maintaining cleanliness of the shop and work area, including cleaning tables, counters, trashcans, and breaking down merchandise boxes.
  • Performing other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 1 year of customer service experience in food/beverage or retail; previous coffee house and/or hotel experience preferred.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and pleasantly in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally.
  • Ability to work well with co-workers across departments.
  • Ability to prioritize and follow up on guest requests in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with Heine Brothers' products and methods, including coffee, espresso, specialty drinks, and retail items.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Food Handler Certification required.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds; frequent bending, reaching, and standing required.
