Job summary

Wentworth-Douglass Hospital is seeking a Medical Assistant II to join the Bariatric Surgery and Weight Management team onsite in Dover, NH. The role supports providers, coordinates patient care, and helps maintain smooth workflow in a busy clinic.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, CPR/BLS training within 6 months, and preferably completion of a Medical Assistant program or certification. Epic experience is a plus; on-site benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• BLS or CPR/AED training within 6 months of hire is required.

Responsibilities

• Support efficient patient flow with ~20 patients per day.
• Assist during office visits: chart prep, rooming, examinations, procedures, and treatments.
• Perform patient panel management: phone calls, test results, refill support, care coordination.
• Maintain clean, organized patient care areas.
• Interact professionally with patients and families.
• Collaborate with nurses, providers and team members to ensure positive patient care experience.
