Job summary

Advocate Health’s Weight Management program in Concord, NH is seeking a Medical Assistant II to support the care team in clinical and administrative tasks essential to patient care. The role requires MA program completion, AHA BLS, and MA experience, with duties spanning rooming, labs, injections, and coordination.

Expect 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday, 7am–4pm, with one half-day weekly; benefits eligible and supportive team environment. Salary ranges reflect experience and program needs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent clinical training.
• Current AHA BLS certification.
• Certification as CMA or RMA preferred by major national organizations.
• Two years of clinical MA experience.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to MA scope of practice and policies; maintain competency per specialty.
• Rooming/visits tasks: vital signs, history, health maintenance review, screenings.
• Assist provider with procedures as ordered.
• Perform lab duties: venipuncture, labeling, specimen handling; POCT per standing order; CLIA waived tests.
• Administer medications and vaccines safely.
• Handle referrals, insurance authorizations, scheduling, messaging.
