Job summary

Skilled Wound Care is seeking a Bariatric Surgeon in Philadelphia, PA to lead wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities across the area while keeping surgical skills current in a no-call, Monday–Friday setting.

This role offers clinical autonomy, modern documentation workflows, and a high-impact surgical career within a national physician group, with flexible full-time or part-time arrangements and comprehensive training.

Qualifications

• Medical Degree: MD or DO from an accredited institution.
• Medical License: Unrestricted/clear medical license in the state of practice (or eligibility to obtain one).
• DEA License: Or eligibility to obtain one.
• Open background: We welcome Bariatric Surgeons and surgeons of all backgrounds; no prior wound care experience required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Surgical debridement and bedside procedures.
• Evaluation and treatment of chronic, non-healing and complex wounds.
• Advanced dressings and specialized wound protocols.
• Collaborative care in skilled nursing facilities and the post-acute setting, following patients through healing.
