Job summary

Skilled Wound Care, Shelbyville, TN, is seeking Bariatric Surgeons to lead wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities. This no-call, Monday–Friday role lets you maintain surgical skills and clinical autonomy without the high-pressure hospital environment.

You’ll work with a premier national physician group that offers focused wound care training and a supportive schedule, with pay reflecting a range from $200,000 to $300,000 per year for full-time employment.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited institution.
• Unrestricted/clear medical license in the state of practice (or eligibility).
• DEA license or eligibility to obtain one.
• No prior wound care experience required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Perform bariatric surgical and bedside procedures, including debridement.
• Evaluate and treat chronic, non-healing and complex wounds.
• Apply advanced dressings and wound protocols.
• Collaborate with facilities to oversee patient healing in the post-acute setting.
