Skilled Wound Care in Manhattan, NY is seeking a Bariatric Surgeon to lead wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities. This role allows you to continue using your bariatric surgery skills outside the hospital, with a Monday–Friday schedule and no on-call duties.

You will perform bedside procedures and collaborate with post‑acute teams, supported by modern documentation tools and a patient‑focused practice model.

Qualifications

• Medical degree: MD or DO from an accredited institution.
• Medical license in the state of practice (or eligibility).
• DEA license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Open background; no wound care experience required; training provided.

Responsabilités

• Surgical and sharp debridement and other bedside procedures
• Evaluation and treatment of chronic, non-healing and complex wounds
• Advanced dressings and specialized wound protocols
• Collaborative care in skilled nursing facilities and the post‑acute setting, where you follow patients through healing
