Job summary

Advocate Health’s Weight Management team in Charlotte seeks a registered dietitian to lead nutrition assessment and medical nutrition therapy. The role includes counseling, coordinating care with a multidisciplinary team, and documenting plans and outcomes. You will develop patient education and participate in team in-services.

The position is full-time, hybrid with two remote days, offering a sign-on bonus for eligible candidates and a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• RD/LDN registry eligibility required.
• Registered Dietitian (CDR) and licensed by state board.
• RD/LDN registration required within 4 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor nutritional status and adjust care per literature and patient data.
• Provide medical nutrition therapy (MNT) and counseling for assigned patients/clients.
• Coordinate nutrition into total patient therapy with physicians and nurses.
• Document nutrition care plans, assessments, consultations, and education in required tools.
• Develop and evaluate nutrition education materials and educate patients and families.
• Offer in-services and participate in team education activities.
