Job summary

Oak View Group is seeking a Barback in Colorado Springs to back up bartenders during events by restocking beverages, supplies, and maintaining stock levels. You will follow all alcohol service policies, support the bartending team, and ensure attendance and reliability for the event schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience in fast-paced, high-volume bar settings.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented, event-driven environment.
• Valid food handling certificate and alcohol service permit if required by state and federal regulations.
• Ability to calculate basic math functions for inventory.

Responsibilities

• Stock products for the bar, including beverages and ice.
• Sweep and mop the bar area.
• Move kegs in and out of coolers and tap kegs.
• Draft beer and pour wine for guest orders; restock supplies for bartenders.
• Ensure equipment is operable and clean before events.
• Maintain bar and surrounding areas with sanitation procedures.
• Recognize guests who are visibly intoxicated and alert bartenders.
• Uphold sanitation, health, and safety standards.
• Demonstrate excellent attendance.
