Job summary

Hilton Garden Inn Dallas Downtown is seeking a Barback to support bartenders and keep the bar area clean, stocked, and operating smoothly. You will help with restocking supplies, basic bar prep, and maintaining sanitation to ensure a great guest experience.

Ideal candidates have prior bar/restaurant experience or a hospitality background, strong teamwork and communication skills, and the ability to stand, lift, and work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous bar, restaurant, or hospitality experience preferred.
• Knowledge of basic bar operations is a plus.
• Strong time management and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Restock liquor, beer, wine, mixers, garnishes, glassware, and bar supplies.
• Clean and maintain the bar area, including counters, sinks, floors, and equipment.
• Remove trash, replace liners, and maintain recycling and disposal areas.
• Assist with receiving, organizing, and rotating beverage inventory.
• Refill ice bins and maintain proper ice levels throughout the shift.
• Cut garnishes and prepare basic bar prep items.
• Assist bartenders with service needs during busy periods.
• Ensure compliance with sanitation, safety, and company policies.
• Report any equipment or maintenance issues to management.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
