Job summary

The Langham, Chicago is seeking a friendly bartender to provide courteous service in the hotel Bar, while maintaining high standards per Langham Hospitality Group and Forbes. You will participate in creating beverage lists and offerings.

Responsibilities include setup, service, cleanliness, POS usage, and teamwork with servers and kitchen staff. Prior F&B experience is preferred; High school diploma is preferred; ability to lift up to 50 pounds is required.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of food and beverages preparation.
• Basic English language writing skills necessary for requisitions, balance sheets and vouchers.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, courteous service to guests in the hotel Bar.
• Maintain station cleanliness and appearance.
• Serve food, coffee, water and beverages as required.
• Resolve guest complaints professionally.
• Work with the outlet team and kitchen staff.
• Adhere to health and safety procedures.
• Handle receipts and payments accurately.
• Support security as needed.
• Attend department meetings.
