Job summary

Loews Hollywood Hotel is seeking a detail-oriented Barback to support the bar team in a fast-paced environment in Los Angeles. You will help keep the bar stocked, organized, and prepared for service, enabling bartenders to deliver a seamless guest experience.

The role requires physical stamina, the ability to lift up to 75 pounds, and flexibility to work weekends and holidays. Prior bar/restaurant experience is preferred, and the team offers comprehensive benefits and discount programs.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a bar or restaurant setting preferred.
• Ability to lift/pull/push 75+ pounds.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Flexible to work all shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Replenish and restock the bar with liquor, beer, wine, ice, glassware, garnishes and supplies.
• Set up and break down the bar before/after shifts or events.
• Prepare garnishes (lemon, lime, orange wedges, cherries, olives).
• Maintain cleanliness of the bar area and proper sanitation.
• Monitor stock levels and alert staff when low.
• Assist bartenders during peak hours to ensure timely service.
