Job summary

The Original Arcadia Tavern is seeking a Barback to support bartenders by replenishing supplies, restocking glassware, and keeping the bar area clean and organized. You will help ensure fast service and a welcoming guest experience during busy shifts.

Responsibilities include setting up and breaking down the bar, monitoring inventory, handling basic beverage prep, and adhering to safety and sanitation regulations while collaborating with the team to deliver quality drinks.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Previous barback or similar role preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.
• Compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
• Ability to learn POS software and assist bar staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist bartenders by replenishing ice, garnishes, and glassware.
• Set up and break down bar area; clean and restock ingredients.
• Maintain cleanliness of bar surfaces, floors, and equipment.
• Monitor inventory and coordinate with bar manager to ensure supplies.
• Take orders and deliver drinks to guests when needed.
• Operate beverage equipment like blenders and coffee machines.
• Follow safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations.
• Collaborate with servers and staff for smooth service during peak hours.
• Keep up with beverage trends and participate in trainings.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
