Square One Concepts, Inc. is seeking a Barback to support bartenders and ensure the bar runs smoothly at peak hours in Phoenix, AZ. You will restock glassware, keep ice and garnishes ready, and assist with beverage preparation as needed.

The role emphasizes attentiveness to guests and teamwork with servers and bartenders. Ideal candidates have an eye for detail, excellent communication, and the ability to work flexible evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail in bar setup, cleanliness and stocking.
• Strong teamwork and communication with bartenders and servers.
• Customer service mindset and ability to handle guests gracefully.
• Knowledge of beverages and ingredients is a plus.
• Ability to comply with local alcohol service regulations and age requirements.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support Bartenders: replenish ice, garnishes, and glassware.
• Set up and break down bar area before and after service.
• Maintain bar cleanliness and organized surfaces and equipment.
• Monitor inventory and coordinate with bar manager on supplies.
• Assist in serving guests and taking beverage orders as needed.
• Assist in operating beverage equipment (blenders, coffee machines).
• Adhere to safety, sanitation, and alcohol service standards.
