Job summary

Aramark is hiring a Barback to support bartenders by stocking, transporting, and cleaning equipment and supplies. The role involves assisting with opening/closing duties, maintaining inventory, and helping with reordering to meet guest needs.

Responsibilities emphasize staying organized, ensuring bar stock, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment while delivering friendly guest service. The position may require standing for long periods and flexibility with shifts.

Qualifications

• Previous food service experience preferred.
• Demonstrates excellent guest service skills.
• Available to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
• Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
• Requires constant standing and walking.

Responsibilities

• Assists with opening and closing duties, restocking garnishes, towels and napkins.
• Delivers product and uses transfer sheets to maintain inventory integrity.
• Cleans, sanitizes, and maintains appearance of workstations and guest service areas.
• Ensures bar is well-stocked with ice, liquor, wine, and beer.
• Checks taps and appliances to ensure that they are working properly and changing out kegs.
• Keeps the bar clean by wiping down surfaces, sweeping and mopping, removing soiled glassware, scrubbing coolers and storage areas, and emptying trash receptacles.
• Maintains excellent guest service and a positive demeanor towards guests, customers, clients, co-workers, etc.
• Adheres to Aramark safety policies and procedures including proper food safety and sanitation.
• Ensures security of company assets
