Job summary

The Food Hall Co. is seeking skilled barbacks to support bartenders at our food hall venues, with required weekend availability and a fast, guest-focused approach.

You will keep the bar clean and organized, stock liquor and glassware, assist with juices and batch cocktails, and ensure safety and sanitation standards while delivering friendly service.

This is a vital support role for a collaborative team, offering opportunities to grow and contribute to vibrant community experiences.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of restaurant and bar experience.
• Must read and speak English; bilingual Spanish is a plus.
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift at least 50 pounds.
• Maintain Food Handler’s and State Alcohol Serving certifications.
• Available to work days, evenings, late nights, weekends and holidays.
• Able to read and follow recipes for juices and batch cocktails.
• Properly use a knife and other kitchen equipment.

Responsibilities

• Interact with guests professionally and in a friendly manner.
• Arrive on time for scheduled shifts, ready to work.
• Wear the proper uniform, non-slip shoes required.
• Maintain a clean and well-organized bar.
• Stock liquor, beer, ice, wine, and glassware.
• Label, date, and refrigerate prepped items.
• Perform opening, closing, and side work duties.
• Rotate product to maintain freshness; prepare garnishes.
• Assist bartenders in greeting guests and assisting with service.
• Use bar equipment, cleaning, and sanitizing products per Health Dept. standards.
