Job summary

Brazen Restaurant Group seeks a Barback & Dishwasher to support fast-paced bar and kitchen operations in Memphis. This combined role keeps bar stock, glassware, and dish areas clean, organized, and compliant with health codes while aiding service staff.

You'll work closely with bartenders and kitchen team, handle physical tasks, and learn the ins and outs of bar operations. Availability for nights, weekends, and holidays is required; pay is experience-based with tips shared by the bar team.

• Cleaning & Sanitation: ensure continuous supply of clean glassware, utensils, and equipment; keep dish pit and storage areas clean and compliant.
• Operational Readiness: assist with bar and kitchen setup/breakdown; maintain overall venue cleanliness and organization.

Key Responsibilities

Bar Support (Barback)

• Maintain optimal stock levels for all bar items, including ice, glassware, liquor, beer, wine, and garnishes.
• Provide crucial, fast-paced assistance to Bartenders by running items, retrieving supplies, and keeping the front-of-house service area clean and organized.

Cleaning & Sanitation (Dishwasher)

• Manage all dishwashing operations, ensuring a continuous supply of clean, sanitized glassware, utensils, and serving equipment.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the dish pit area, service stations, and storage areas, adhering strictly to health and safety codes.

Operational Readiness

• Assist with the breakdown and setup of the bar and kitchen areas before and after service.
• Consistently maintain cleanliness and organization across the venue.
